MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING – July 10, 2006 5:20 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., James Deming and
Steven Dellaguistina
Steven Bartels, Chairman Board of Appeals, addressed the board regarding the hearing that is scheduled for later this month. Mr. Bartels wanted to compromise with the applicant and the Selectmen said that The Board of Appeals has the ability to make compromises. Mr. Bartel’s term as a member of the Board of Appeals has ended and is requesting that the Selectmen seek additional members to serve. Mr. Bartles would like to give up his position as Chairman but remain on the board as an alternate.
Ora the Director of Camp Kinderland and Dennis also of Camp Kinderland asked the board if it would be possible for the camp to continue to use the Playhouse and/or seek a waiver regarding the findings of the Building Inspector and Fire Chief. Eric as Building Inspector will discuss the condition of the Playhouse with Fire Chief Littlefield and will contact Ora on the decision.
The board appointed Jeffrey LaCasse to serve on The Cemetery Committee.
Petition receive from 48 town residents requesting the painting of the center lines
On route 57. Line painting is being scheduled for this summer.
Letter’s received: -letter from Art and Ada Pulaski of Pinewood Drive in reference to the condition of Schoolhouse Road
-letter from Cindy Burrall in reference to the condition of Clubhouse Road and asking why the need for a street sweeper. Clubhouse Road was repaired on Saturday.
-letter from Susan Moore regarding a town employee using the trash compactor without purchasing a permit. Letter was forwarded to the Chair of the Trash Committee and addressed with the employee.
